Home health care is a wide range of health care services that can be given in your home for an illness or injury. Home health care is usually less expensive, more convenient, and just as effective as care you get in a hospital or skilled nursing
facility (SNF).

2. How is Home Medical Care different from Private Duty or Home Care?

Private Duty Care is nonskilled care provided in your home or an assisted living facility. It can be highly customized and is not covered by insurance.

Home Medical Care is provided by a skilled person, is offered for a limited amount of time, and has strict requirements.

3. Where can I set up Home Medical Care or Private Duty Care?

Home Medical Care and Private Duty Care can be set up in the privacy of your own home, in an assisted living facility, or in a skilled nursing care center.

4. How do I set up Home Medical Care at Home, in the hospital, in hospice care, or in a nursing home?

5. Can I pay for my medical care with Medicare or Medicaid?

We provide Nursing services, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy and Private Duty (non-skilled) Care.

8. Can I access your services for just a couple of hours?

11. What type of information should I share with my healthcare manager or caseworker to ensure that I receive a comprehensive care plan?

When you set up an assessment, a nurse will create a customized care plan for your situation and medical needs. At that time, she will review any information with you. Some of this information may include, but is not limited to, hospital
care instructions, medical records, prescriptions, and insurance information.
